The Osmo Action 5 Pro is an action camera developed by SZ DJI Co, Ltd.[1]

Anti-consumer practices

Osmo Action 5 Pro action camera requires the owner to use the DJI Mimo smartphone app. Action camera can only be used 5 times without using the app for "activation". After 5 times the usage of the camera is impossible unless the DJI Mimo app is installed and used to "activate" the camera.[2]

This is an anti-consumer practice that forces users to install and use proprietary software on their mobile devices.
