m Made some minor adjustments to spelling/grammar, tense consistency, and Wiki article language. However, there was a bigger change towards the start of the article, including a note I found to be irrelevant, and an adjustment to the founding date. I can't add references or use the discussion page, but the founding date came from a combination of visiting the Chamberlain Group website and a quick check on the lackluster Wikipedia page. For best results, find the company's legal documentation.
m Assign categories based on the corresponding article on Wikipedia, as discussed in #planning on Discord

Chamberlain Group LLC is an intelligent garage door opener company founded in 1954, boasting 50M+ homes with their products installed, and also offers commercial garage door opener systems.

Incidents[edit | edit source]

  • 2023: Disabled access to the myQ ecosystem to "prevent unauthorized usage." This removal of API access to the myQ ecosystem prevented users from utilizing features that were previously available to customers. An example of an affected product is the Chamberlain MYQ-G0401 Wireless Smart Garage Hub. [1]
  • 2023: Discontinued support for "myQ Home Bridge" kit, which bricked a $70-90 device, with no refunds offered. [2]
